My passion for food and cooking sparked at age 25, making me a bit of a culinary late bloomer. In 2005, on our second date, my now-husband Mike cooked me a truly unforgettable meal*, unlocking not only the key to my heart, but also opening the door to a creative avenue that completely consumed my life. And while the food was certainly exquisite, it was the experience, cultivated from a place of pure and genuine love, that I most connected with and strive to create for others today.
When it comes to my cooking classes, whether you consider yourself an amateur, intermediate or a highly experienced cook, my ultimate goal is to create an unforgettable experience that inspires you long after you walk out the door (or leave the zoom!), regardless of which dishes you cook. As long as you come with a curious and open mind, you’ll leave with a satisfied belly and an inspired soul – this is my promise to you!
*That unforgettable meal, if you’re curious, was Chicken Parmigiana – the juiciest chicken, breaded and fried to crispy perfection, topped with a sweet and spicy homemade marinara and gooey mozzarella, all over angel hair pasta and served alongside the softest, fluffiest garlic knots, drenched in what many would consider to be an illegal amount of butter. I am sure there was a vegetable involved in this meal, but who really cares?! Oh, the memories!
